About Dr. Carissa
I hold a Doctorate and Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Temple University. With over two decades of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, I am a licensed psychologist and clinical social worker. My training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, combined with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, enables me to address a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, phobias, and OCD. I can also help navigate issues related to relationships, life transitions, grief and loss. By creating a safe and judgment-free environment, we can work together to identify your strengths and achieve your goals. Let’s build a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship to help you overcome any barriers holding you back.
